2nd supper club at the mulberry falmouth

Special thanks to Chefs Jay and Harry along with their fantastic front of house team Freya, Natasha, and Kirsten for graciously hosting us again last night at their underground gem, The Mulberry Falmouth. The experience was truly delightful.

We indulged in an exquisite 5-course tasting menu with options ranging from a little bit of everything to pescatarian and vegetarian. The culinary journey was accompanied by engaging conversations and delightful company.

Bread with Chive Butter

Chefs Jay and Harry have a knack for utilising local ingredients, but what sets them apart is their emphasis on showcasing the primary ingredient of each dish. This was evident in every course, sparking lively discussions about flavour pairings and allowing us to savour each bite slowly. Personally, the Newlyn line caught Pollock and the buttery melt in the mouth braised cabbage stood out as favorites.

A heartfelt thank you to all who joined me. It's always a pleasure to reunite with old foodie friends, welcome regulars, and greet new faces. I trust everyone relished the evening as much as I did.

Once again, The Mulberry Falmouth has proven why it's among the select four restaurants in Cornwall to be awarded the prestigious Bib Gourmand from Michelin. Their culinary prowess shines through effortlessly.
