07.03.26 - Foraging, wild cooking and 3 course lunch at 7th Rise at 10:30 AM

£50.00

Stuart Woodman from 7th Rise has kindly invited us back for a unique opportunity to enjoy their secret location on the River Fal with an intro into foraging and wild cooking, learning about the delicious wild plants and herbs to eat...and the ones to avoid.

Cooking from the ground up. They’re lucky to have diverse habitats on site: seashore, woodland, fields and hedgerow and during the day you will be shown how to identify at least a dozen edible plants, flowers, roots and herbs, plus a few inedible ones. There will be plenty to forage at this time of the year from fresh spring greens, Wild Garlic, Three-cornered Leeks, Rock Samphire and lots more.

There is no road access, you will be surrounded by woodland, wildlife and on the banks of the river it's a truly wild location.

If the weather stays dry, we will luncheon outdoors and if it rains they have an indoor space available too.

Hot drinks and cake after the walk down. Seashore forage then lunch and pudding and coffee, equipment, instructions provided - just bring yourselves (and maybe a notebook).

They sometimes include meat and fish in the meal; please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we can plan accordingly.

Minimum age - 8 years.

Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

Venue Address

TR2 5JH - This postcode gets you to Penperth Farm, with the farm on your right, the meeting point is the layby 200m on your left. It is very close to the King Harry Ferry which you can catch at 9:40am.
